Buenos Aires, December 24 (NA) – Flavio Mendoza surprised his son Dionisio with an as unexpected as unforgettable trip.
Although the original plan was to travel to Rosario to attend the traditional Christmas show that the producer holds every year, at the last minute he decided to change the destination and take him to Finland to experience an authentic "white" Christmas, celebrate the boy's birthday there, and fulfill his dream of meeting Santa Claus in person.
According to what Noticias Argentinas was able to confirm, the news of the trip was recorded in a tender and fun video on board the plane, where Flavio was sowing the mystery. "Listen," the producer launched, awakening Dionisio's attention. "What?" the child responded. "I want to tell you one thing..." Flavio continued, while his son urged him on between laughs: "Now!".
As the first clue, Mendoza stated: "We are going to Rosario." Convinced, Dionisio responded: "Aha." However, the producer doubled down on the intrigue: "Are you sure?". The back and forth continued, charged with complicity: "No, we are not going to Rosario," clarified his dad. "Yes," the boy answered, sure that the plan was still intact.
"And if I tell you we are going to make an incredible trip, where would it be?" Flavio asked. "To Rosario," Dionisio insisted. "Yeeees!".
Flavio also published an emotional message for his followers: "I want to share a dream with everyone, I never post anything to show off, I'm not interested, but since I became a dad and because I've always been the same, I'm an eternal dreamer, I always wanted to come to this place, everyone knows I love my Christmas shows."
Without yet imagining the real destination, the child retorted with humor: "So what?". Flavio continued to feed the surprise: "Do you think this plane is to go to Rosario?". "Yes," Dionisio replied, still suspecting nothing.
Finally, the great moment arrived. "Where did dad tell you he was going to take you?" Mendoza asked. "To the North Pole," Dionisio remembered. "Yes, yes, yes!".
"This year, with three of us in different cities, and when my son lost his first tooth I said my baby is growing up, asking questions and everything a 7-year-old does, and I said it's time... where is the real Santa Claus?" Flavio shared.
He got on the plane thinking we were traveling to Rosario and on the plane came the surprise: we are going to live a white Christmas like in the fairy tales. The boy's emotion exploded in screams and laughter, and Flavio capped off the scene with the key question: "Where are we going?". Without hesitation, Dionisio shouted: "To the North Pole!". "I wish you all a beautiful Christmas and never stop dreaming because the only dreams that don't come true are those that are not dreamed," expressed the producer in the video's caption.
Faced with his father's follow-up question, he explained enthusiastically: "We are going to celebrate your birthday." "Thank you, dad!" Dionisio exclaimed. "I hope I can stretch this illusion that he believes in magic and in dreams because they are achieved with effort, a lot of work, discipline, and passion," Flavio added.
